Procedure for repairing drywall

Step-1: Removing all the debris and paint hanging around the cracked portion.

Step- 2: In case, crack is elongating you have to remove weak debris by force.

Step-3: Now, use sandpaper to smoothen out the cracked portion.

Step-4: Mix the plaster mixture, using the mud pan.

Step-5: Now use putty knife to apply the plaster.

Step-6: Make a small strip and cover the crack

Step -7: Now apply coat of plaster over the seam tape.
