Children will enjoy their lunch day in a day out if the meal is properly
dressed and something they love to eat. For this reason coming up with fresh

Kids like variety, so change the bread type every now and
then. Instead of the everyday sandwich try using tortillas for wraps, bagels,
muffins, pita bread, fresh baked rolls and brown bread. Remember the more
inspiring you make the make the more chances children will eat it.
Custom Snack Mix
Try creating your own snack mix, using an assortment of
flowered crackers, cereal, dried fruit or pretzels. Kids enjoy snacks and
anything in this category clicks. As an occasional treat add fruit yogurt or
chocolate products. Experiment with various mixes of snacks and see what clicks
best with your child.
Sandwich Fillings
Try different sandwich fillings if your child prefers
sandwiches. You can consider innovative combinations like diced chicken and
corn, ham & avocado, grated carrot and cheddar cheese or jam and peanut
butter.
Quesadillas
There are various recipes for creating a tasty and appealing
quesadilla snack. An easy to cook snack is by pacing the quesadillas on soft
tortilla in a hot frying pan. Spread with pizza sauce or tomato paste. Sprinkle
grated cheese on top and other fillings like ham, bacon, peppers, onions and
tomatoes. Place another tortilla on top and heat until the cheese melts, cut
into pizza slices and let your child enjoy a great snack for lunch.
Veggies
For a proper daily vitamin requirement vegetables can be
sliced in to a selection, usually carrot and celery sticks. You can always
change things around with cucumber, ears of baby corn, cherry tomatoes,
mushrooms and zucchini. Hummus is a commonly used dip but you can always choose
other types of dips to make veggies interesting.
Fruits
Fruits are necessary for a healthy child, and most children
enjoy fruits when sliced and served in a presentable way. You can cut different
pieces of fruit and pack in a plastic lunch box. Include anything from apple,
peach, banana, melon etc. Vanilla or fruit yogurt also enhance the experience
