Know the ways on how to maintain a Vacuum Cleaner

First thing you must do is to unplug the cleaner before you clean it; it is safer to clean away from an electric charge. Second thing is to check the bag and make sure that you are going to replace it regularly. By using your hand, you can measure and feel the fullness of the bag by various debris and dusts.  Third is by using a correct measurement of bag inside the vacuum cleaner, it is more efficient when the machine is working appropriately. Fourth is by emptying the bags more frequently, it keeps the machine out of any defects. Fifth is by cleaning the brush roll, it is a spinning brush located underneath the vacuum cleaner. It is responsible in brushing away dusts and other types of debris. In cleaning the brush, you can use a scissor or even your hand. You should remove the hair, bearings or strings which are attached to the brush. But the most common that you will see in the brush is the hairs. Sixth step is by lubricating and cleaning the bearings inside the brush roll, you may unscrew all the cap and bearings which are attached into it. Hold the brush end to end. After that, you can remove all the debris and lubricate it thoroughly. Replace all the caps where it was supposed. Seventh step is checking the entire belt in any signs of tearing. You may do that by removing all the plates located in the bottom using your fingers. Then look for any cracks or worn spots in the belt. You should be responsible in replacing the belt every after 6 months or as necessary. Eighth step is removing all the large debris or dusts which are located in the air passage, this is the important part of the vacuum cleaner where the machine would effectively work. Ninth is replacing the old brush roll by a new one. Make sure that you replace it in a tight manner. And lastly is replacing the filters or you may simply clean them. Eleventh is by checking that there are no clogs or any obstructions in the machine itself.

Tips in doing the maintenance check more effectively:

You should do maintenance frequently to your vacuum cleaners, because it is the only time when you can detect any problems with it. Most importantly, you should not vacuum those large objects found on the floor because it may ruin your entire machine. And lastly, do not over extend the cord when you are cleaning, because it may damage also the performance of the vacuum cleaner and the cord itself.
