Foundation

the plate the internal fixed column is put on which hinged section of drill
press rotate? Hinged section consists of external column, hose pipe and
drilling head.
Hose
pipe moves along the external cylinder column by the means of lifting mechanism
which is situated on the upper end face of the column; clamp of the hose pipe
on the external column is carried out automatically after finishing of lifting
or descending.
The
clamp of external column on the internal one during the work of the drill press
is carried out by hydraulic mechanism which is built into the block of the
lifting mechanism.
Drilling
head which moves on the hose pipe guides by hand is the independent integral
unit which includes the following units: gear shift transmission, supplying
mechanism, mainspindle with balancer weight and others. While working on the
drill press the drilling head is fixed in the hose pipe by hydraulic mechanism
which work simultaneously with the clapping mechanism of the column. Both
mechanisms are controlled from one pushbutton station.
All
controlling drill press organs are concentrated on the drilling head. Drill
press is equipped with five electric motors. Electric equipment is arranged
into recesses in the back part of the hose pipe. Inductive electric panel is located
in the soleplate of the internal column.
Gear shift transmissions
In
order to get different speeds of mainspindle's rotation it's necessary to have
the ability to transfer the movementfrom electric motor to mainspindle through
kinematic chains with different transmission ratio. The gear shift transmission
is used for this purpose. Types and constructions of gear shift transmissions
used in drill press
are different. It's as more complex as more different speeds are. It can be
seemed that every gear shift transmission differs from other ones significantly
but in reality all of them are assembled from standard elements and if you know
principle of work of this elements and types of their combination then it's not
very difficult to understand the mechanism of every gear shift transmission.
Feeding box
Feeding
box is situated in the separate block which is the fronted part of the drilling
press and which is fixed to the main block. Feeding box provides getting of 18
mechanical feeds on one rotate of mainspindle.
Tooth
wheels of the feeding box are mill annealed and arranged on the splined shafts
rotated on the multiball bearings. Bearings and tooth wheels of the feeding box
are greased with oil flowing down from gear shift transmission. Switching over
the feeding box is carried out by the means of single-handling mechanism.
Conic
disks are situated on the sleeve. Disk defines the position of the lever groups
which are connected with double toothed blocks of the spindles. Disk defines
position of the lever group which switches over the triple block of the
spindle.
The
switching over the feeding box is carried out in such a way: by rotating of the
handle on yourself you output disks from bonding with fingers of lever groups.
Then rotate the handle up to compliance of the indicator with the size of
necessary feed (feeding scale is fixed on the block). After this the rotation
of the handle on yourself starts the movement of the toothed blocks.
Supplying mechanism
Supplying
mechanism is situated in one block with the box and consists of two parts:
vertical spindle and horizontal spindle.
Vertical
spindle of supplying mechanism is connected with the feeding box by the means
of toothed clutch upper part of which enters into the bonding with clutch's
detail of the feeding box. Through the ball protecting clutch which defends
drill press mechanisms from the overwork under the influence of the axial force
of the feed the rotation transfers to the splined sleeves situated on the warm
shaft.
Toothed
clutch is switched over by lever group which is rotated by the handle and fixed
by spring plunger. When switched off clutch it's possible with the help of the
flywheel to carry out the feed of the mainspindle by hand. The warm is situated
in the bonding with warm wheel stock of which is free sitting on the horizontal
spindle. Stock is connected with the holder of the toothed clutch by the front
advanced cams.
By

are used in the hand production where the process of production is not removed
on the robotized conveyor lines.
