When choosing your breakfast you should be careful to avoid those that are based on simple carbs such as white bread and sugary cereals. These foods tend to shoot your blood sugar to a very high levels. When your sugar levels go down again it will make you feel hungry and drive you to eat more.

Lunch Meals to Help Lose Weight

Lunch is another important meal since it helps in avoiding mid day hunger. Having a proper lunch will keep you sugar levels at the right levels and will help you in maintaining your energy.

It is certainly better to prepare your lunch yourself than dinning at the nearby restaurant since you know what you are getting.

Following are some of the ideas for a healthy lunch:

1.Turkey wrap. This is a classic kind of sandwich and a favorite among many healthy eaters. To prepare a wrap you need a whole wheat flour tortilla, 3 slices of turkey, 1 teaspoon of light mayonnaise, add tomato, lettuce, salt and pepper to taste.

2.Grilled chicken salad. To prepare this salad you should have 3 ounces of grilled and seasoned chicken mixed with romaine lettuce, tomato, cucumber, green or red pepper, and low fat dressing.

3.Crab rolls. 6 ounces of cooked crab meat, 1 teaspoon of relish, 1 teaspoon of light mayonnaise, ground pepper to taste. Mix all ingredients and use hot dog buns to make a sandwich.

Dinner Meals to Help Lose Weight

When thinking of meals to help los weight, you should avoid having a huge dinner since you probably will not be doing any exercise to burn it off. However, a light dinner is important to keep you from snacking in front of your TV.

Concentrate on having a dinner rich in protein, complex carbohydrates, and vegetables.

Your choice of a healthy dinner meals are:

1.Four ounces of grilled chicken or broiled salmon fish, 1 baked potato, ½ cup of steamed broccoli, and 1 tablespoon of sour cream.

2.Fajita. To prepare a fajita you need a flour tortilla, four ounces of chicken or meat, ½ cup of mixed onion and green pepper, and 1 tablespoon of sour cream.

3.Pasta Primavera. Half cup of cooked pasta, 1 cup of steamed broccoli, zucchini, and carrots, 1 tablespoon of margarine.

Sticking to the mentioned meals to help lose weight is an easy job. Just make sure that to not take it to the extreme. You should indulge yourself with your favorite dessert from time to time. Just make it reasonable since you don?t want your cravings to ruin all your efforts.
