Hologram Bar Code Label  incorporates a hot stamped hologram or a thermo-transferred hologram with an area for customer to print the bar code information themselves. The hologram can incorporate various security features and various printing technologies and inks to make a unique label. Hologram stickers have certain advantages which are not available in ordinary printed stickers. These are as follows:

 * Hologram stickers cannot be copied.

    * They cannot be altered.

    * They cannot be adapted or manufactured cheaply from scratch.

Following are a number of the specific techniques used in making hologram stickers:

* Custom Etching and Overprinting: Custom etching is a powerful way to customize the look of an image. The method of etching or overprinting on customizing images offers great flexibility within a hologram authenticity program. The addition of etching or overprinting results into multiple uses of the same image. For example: you can have multiple departments dates while employing a single hologram image.

    * Tamper Evident: Tamper Evident stickers show "evidence of tampering" if removal is attempted. If the tamper evident label is removed, the remaining portions that come off is considered invalid or unusable.

    * Sequential Numbering: Sequential numbering can serve a variety of purposes, like inventory control, product tracking and multiple uses of a single stock hologram.

    * Special Die Cutting: Hologram stickers in rolls can be given different shapes like square or round stickers ready for hand application. However, many images can be given varying shapes and sizes for greater level of customization.

The impression/ images of the hologram are embossed on lacquered (tamper evident coating), metalized polyester film and then a special heat activated adhesive coating is provided in the foil which enables the user to laminate the holographic strip to the substrate using an attachment in the customer's existing lamination machine or using an automatic lamination machine. These holographic paper labels are known to create a brilliant visual effects and offer an evidence against tampering. These holographic paper labels are the measure of authenticity of an object. Polyester hologram stickers are suireference for indoor and outdoor applications.  If an ID card printer is used to printing ID cards , the hologram label should be applied after the card is printed. If the label is applied before printing, it will affect the printing quality and damage the print head. Hologram stickers can also be applied on the finished card after heat sealing.
