If you are a car owner, increase of the fuel prices increases the weekly and monthly expenses of yours. When the price of the fuel hikes, it affects to the number of your pleasure rides and family trips. There is nothing the people can do about the rising fuel prices. What we can do is increasing the fuel efficiency of the cars. There are several methods you can follow to increase the fuel efficiency of your car without spending much money and some of them at no cost whatsoever.


Some people put less fuel to their vehicles and think that going back to the gas station when the fuel is required is OK. But it is an incorrect practice and it tends to fuel and time wastages due to the extra tips to gas stations. Therefore avoid such practices to increase the fuel efficiency of your car. 


Also pay attention on the engine and don’t keep it dirty. Many people don’t think that when the engine get clogged up it consume extra fuel. So keep your car engine clean to save fuel.


Remember to keep tire pressures to the required level. . If you can make sure your car tires are inflated to the optimum level as prescribed in the user guide of the car, you can save lots of money you spend for fuel.

Also use good quality oils and standard gas additives with the fuel to increase the fuel efficiency of the vehicle. It also helps to increase the engine life as well.


Heavy traffics on the road much affects to fuel wastages. Therefore try to use alternative routes to your destination if you find yourself stuck in the traffic on a regular basis.  Also you can save fuel by making your trips at times when there will be less congestion.


Also try to keep moderate speed and proper distances with other vehicles. Why I am saying that, when we apply more brakes, it causes for extra fuel consumptions.


And do not keep unnecessary loads in your car. Heavy loaded vehicle consumes more fuel because engine works hard.


Likewise there are lots of options available to reduce your car’s fuel consumptions. Follow these simple and easy tips to increase the fuel efficiency of your car.
