However, it does not take much before our confident disguise disappears and we get back to square one, with additional pounds and totally demoralized.
Want to start a diet and succeed? Follow these tips to avoid common diet disasters!
To begin with, keep away from fad diets. Do not believe in their promises of helping you get rid of those unwanted extra pounds because they are not true. They will make your organism so much deprived of the calories and variety of nutrients it requires that of course you will lose weight. But you will also become malnourished and, as a result, you will not feel well. To make things worse, you will not be able to keep up with such a restrictive diet plan for long and you will end up falling into temptation in no time at all. Fad diets are the entrance door to yo yo dieting, a problem that affects lots of frequent dieters that lose and gain weight regularly.
Secondly, make sure that the diet plan you follow is tailored suit to your needs, your requirements and your schedule. It has to fit comfortably into your everyday life so that you can follow it without trouble. It should make your life easier and healthier and help you to introduce interesting and healthy eating habits and meals you will not dare to try beforehand.
On the third place, ask a nutritionist or health expert to help you design a diet plan that is suitable for you.
On the fourth place, keep away from dieting pills. Even though they may be made of natural ingredients and herbs, they usually keep you off weight while you take them and, as soon as you stop taking them regularly, you gain back all the pounds you have lost. Needless to say, this is incredibly harmful for the organism. In addition, these pills are not checked by the FDA and some combination of ingredients can be dangerous for your health.
