It is a really big decision to pack up the office and make the move to a new office location. Cubicle space, executive suites, conference rooms, window offices, then there is all the other stuff such as, the car parking facilities and the surrounding area.
There is an endless amount of real estate options out there, in a variety of different locations. And with so much choice, where do you begin?

So if you are thinking about relocating your company to a new US office then you might find that Texas could be an ideal location for your company. Warm, humid and extremely large; Texas is a really great location for almost any business.

There's Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin and San Antonio, which all have great facilities and areas that are ideal for big businesses.

But let's go into a bit more detail about some of the key benefits of leasing Texas office space. So with this in mind, here are some of the things that Texas could offer.

1. The state capital has a growing population and economy. The population in the Texas capital, Austin, is at the present time around 790,000 people, so you'll never have a shortage of customers or of employees. The city of Austin was also christened 2nd Best Big City in "Best Places to Live" by Money magazine 5 years ago and according to the magazine Travel it has been placed as the number 1 on the list of cities with the best people.

2. Texas office space is rich and plentiful. Multi-purpose floor space, affordable leasing feeds and stylish interiors make Texas one of the premium locations for office space in America. As a result, the state's office space is home to 3 of the Fortune 500 companies - Whole Foods Market, Forestar Group and Freescale Semiconductor.

3. The weather in Texas is great. This is because it has a sub-tropical climate which means that it experiences mild winters and hotter summers. This makes it good for your office employees, who dislike coming into work during the colder months. Texas is also a really nice and relaxing place to work and live because it has a climate that is ideal for all the family. It also means that your employees will be able to install a swimming pool and to use it for most of the year.

4. If you are a company that is internet-based or deals with technology then Texas could be ideal due to a recent upsurge of Texan graduates from the local university. This fact has lead to the state becoming a key player in the technology sector as it is the location of many of the big scale technology companies such as Google, Apple and AMD. With a lot of big-scale businesses in Texas, the state is ideal for creating networking opportunities. For example, my friends company took a Dallas Office and it meant they could meet execs from a lot of rival companies and develop contacts.

5. Texas also has a great culture, such as music and art. The Texas state capital is Austin and Austin has a slogan, which is "The Live Music Capital of the World", which reflects the lively atmosphere in Austin. The city also has a really good night life, particularly on 6th Street and Austin's annual film and music festival, South by Southwest, attracts an endless amount of tourists every year. You have to remember that all of these tourists could be potential customers for your business.

In conclusion, even though Texas might not be the highest profile state within the US, such as New York, but it is one of the best options for professional real estate.
