banner etc. Some examples of such outdated techniques are scrolling text, image
maps, java menus, flash only websites, pop-ups, blink elements, frames and many
more. When you start design it should be necessary that you avoid sleazy
elements. Animations and sounds are responsible for distracting the visitors so
avoid such things are beneficial for you. Similarly if you use scrolling text in
your web design then you forced your visitors to read the text or content in
your web page at whatever speed you deliver it. This will frustrate the
visitors because they might read some line quickly and want to move on but
because it’s scrolling text they have to wait for the next line or text to
appear in the window. Another outdated technique which is avoided is using
pop-up window. No one likes pop-ups. Some websites use pop ups for advertisements, ads,
opinion polls and announcements, but pops ups are almost always closed before
the user even reads them.

Also
do not use patterned backgrounds because they provide difficulty to read
important content in the web page. Always keep your website simple, clean and
easy to read. Don’t use frames because frames can become too complex and
display differently depending on the browser connecting to the website. Avoid
using so many links on your web page only put as few clicks between your
visitor and your information as possible. Do not make your website page
too wide and too narrow. Always make your design so simple so that user can use
it easily and also it takes less time for load. So these are some important
things which you should remember before design your website. These are some
outdated design techniques which are avoided by the designers to design a web
pages or websites. Many companies are also providing web design services and
