Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson now well known as Katy Perry was born in the year 1984 to a family where both her parents were pastors. Hence she was used to listening to gospel music and even sand in the church as a child. She was not allowed to listen to much of secular music.

With ‘E.T’ she became the first music artist in the history to remain in the top 10 of Billboard Top 100 for a whole year. She has appeared as a guest judge in the British show The X Factor. She considers the judge Cheryl Cole simply gorgeous. To talk about her private life, she married the British comedian Russel Brand in 2010 in a traditional Hindu wedding which was organized in a luxury resort in the Ranthambhore National Park in India. The ceremony was very grand which included brightly lit lamps, flower garlands and illuminated trees. Both even wore the traditional Indian wedding attire. Her best friend Rihanna could not make it to the wedding because she was busy with her upcoming album release. She considers Rihanna as a cool girl and takes pride in having her in her life. She is also known for her unconventional dressing style which is considered colorful, vintage and inspired from various decades. Her Hello Katy tour of 2009 was a global concert tour which was a grand tour. She engaged the same guy who creates stages for Madonna’s concert for her concert. Her obsession with fruits and cats was clearly evident from her tour outfits.Katy Perry tickets were sold widely for the California Dreams Tour of 2011 which was for supporting her album ‘Teenage Dream’.
