As a manager it is usually your job to look at things such as stats and performance in the work place, you need to analyze these and feedback any of your findings to members of staff. This is great when you have something positive to feedback but if there is something that needs to change or improve then this can be tough.

The problem with giving members of staff 'bad news' is that you need to be careful with the way that you word it. You need to ensure that you are not seen as 'getting at' the person in question and that you position it as feedback rather than something negative.

This is all to do with coaching for performance. Whilst some of us have it in us to be fantastic managers we don't always have the natural skills to be able to deal with every aspect of this. If you feel that you could deal with members of staff better then it could be worth looking into your options regarding a coaching for success program. One of these courses helps you to position feedback correctly so that rather than being seen as criticism it is seen on areas that they can work on and improve on. As these are then seen as aims and goals you will find that people are much more perceptive to working on them and it should help your business productivity.

It stands to reason that when it comes to your hourly productivity in the work place you want it to be as high as possible. So you really do want to do what you can to improve this and coaching for performance courses can really help with this.

If you are interested in any aspect of this or you feel it could be beneficial to you and/or your business then start to look into them now. The internet is a great place to start your research and it should be easy enough to find out loads of information on how to get started - making the whole process as easy as possible for you.
