Fact of Christian Faith

Since the time when Jesus Christ was on earth, from then only the Christian faith has existed. Different followers of Jesus have had different understandings about lots of things but it was the faith of all true Christians that Jesus Christ was the revelation of God in flesh. It was the belief of almost all the Christians that God came to earth in order to bring us back into a relationship with himself.

It is believed that the Christian faith is founded on Jesus Christ and His resurrection. It was declared by the early Christian leaders that their belief in the death and resurrection of Jesus through a statement of belief known as creed. There were arguments against the faith of the Christian that the resurrection story is a myth which developed about a century after Jesus was crucified on a Roman cross. Originally it was thought that the gospel accounts were written almost 100 years after Jesus walked the earth but according to the recent scholarship in manuscript places that the gospels at 30 to 50 years after Jesus. The above statement is important as Biblical scholars have distorted the historical record of the resurrection.

Since the foundation of the christian faith is Jesus Christ and His resurrection the all these facts the historical veracity of his life, death and resurrection are tantamount.

Christian community was founded in 1922 and the christian community recognizes Christ’s deed of life and death as the pivotal renewal in humanity’s history. In this period new relationship between human beings on earth were established. Due to his indwelling in the sacraments, this revitalizing impulse continues to be available to us in community or individually. It is a fact that Christ replenishes our life in sacramental community which in turn offers us as individuals the opportunity to find and connect with his regenerating impulse in our own lives, in the life of the humanity as well as in the life of the entire earth.

In fact Christian faith is not based purely on evidence but it is definitely supported by evidence. Christian faith is about loving Jesus with all your heart, mind, soul and strength.
