Northern India
is tourists’ pleasure. There are many motivating tourist places in this region
of India which
attract travelers from all over the planet. There are a lot of to name such as
Delhi, Jaipur, Agra, Varanasi, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Manali, Pushkar, Ajmer,
Shimla, Manali, Kashmir, Ladakh and many more. Describing all seems to be a
tough task. Hence I am putting brief information about top three most sought
after tourist paces of this region.
The first destination I would
like to recommend is none other than Delhi,
the capital city of India.
Delhi is a combine of ancient and modern
charm. It has emerged as one of the most international cities in the country.
It depicts a marvelous amalgamation of modernity and traditional charm. It
enjoys largest tourist influx coming from different parts of the world. There
are many interesting places and attractions to see in this city featuring
ancient monuments, modern buildings, magnificent forts, beautiful temples,
prosperous museums, lovely gardens, etc.
Major attractions to see in this
city include Red Fort (UNESCO world heritage site), Qutub Minar (UNESCO world
heritage site), Humayun’s Tomb (UNESCO world heritage site), India Gate (an
imposing war memorial), President House, Parliament House, Lodhi Gardens, Old
Fort (Purani Kila), National Zoological Park (Delhi Zoo), Laxmi Narayan Temple
(Birla Mandir), Lotus Temple (Bahai Temple), Swami Narayan Akshardham Temple
(the largest Hindu temple complex in the world), National Museum, Rail Museum,
Doll Museum, Chandani Chowk, Connaught Place, etc.
The second destination I would
like to recommend you is Agra, the
city of Taj. Agra
is an antique and gorgeous city in Indian state of Uttar Pradesh positioned on
the banks of Yamuna River.
It is a city where you will have a wonderful opportunity to see many
magnificent monuments and heritage attractions. Major attractions to see here
include Taj Mahal (UNESCO world heritage site), Agra Fort (UNESCO world
heritage site), Itmad-Ud-Daullah Tomb (Baby Taj or Little Taj Mahal) and
Fatehpur Sikri (UNESO world heritage site).
Built in graceful white marble,
the Taj Mahal is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The
unmatched architectural brilliance of the Taj never fails to lure visitors
coming from all over the world. The Agra Fort consists of many beautiful
structures and architectural buildings. Itmad-Ud-Daullah Tomb is better known
for its interiors which considered as even more beautiful than of the Taj
Mahal. Nearby town of Fatehpur Sikri
is known for attractions like Buland Darwaza (the largest gateway in the
world), Panch Mahal, Jodha Bai
Palace, Salim Chisti Dargah and
Birbal Mahal.
The third destination I would
like to recommend you is Jaipur, the Pink
City of India.
Jaipur is the capital and largest city of Indian
state of Rajasthan and also the first planned city of India.
Drenched into royal grandeur the city has lots to offers its visitors. Major
attractions include Jantar Mantar Observatory (UNESCO world heritage site),
City Palace Complex, Hawa Mahal (the Palace of Winds), Rambagh Palace, Birla
Temple, Ramniwas Garden, Albert Hall Museum and Amber Fort.
Indeed Delhi,
