If the length is too long, the cover comes under the chair legs and the balance of the chair is spoilt.

Printed banquet chair covers are very common. However, the prints should not be too loud. In addition to that, you need to make your selections according to the nature of event. In case of weddings and casual get together, you can use bright colors like red, orange and pink with softer prints. For professional events which are very formal in nature, your banquet chair covers need to be very sober. Try to pick soft shades like light gray or beige. Do the colors of the table and chair covers need to match. The answer to this question is no. For instance, if you have blue colored chair covers, it is not necessary to use red for the table covers as well. However, both the colors used should generate a good contrast. For instance, if we use red for the chair cover, yellow or brown cannot be used for the table covers as the two colors do not coordinate at any degree. If these two shades are used together, they would seem completely disconnected.

Banquet chairs are used in events only and you will not see a lot of people buying them for home usage.  There are certain problems with these chairs as well. First of all, they do not have a very good balance. They are very light weighted at the top. Thus, when you move your body in the backward position, the chair loses its balance.
