Ways to share your Christian faith with your kin

Your believes and your faith has given you the confidence to stand up and be something, it made you see God, Know him and believe in him, the teachings of the Gospel has thrown new light to your life, has given you a new perspective to live your life. If you think this is your story then its time you stood up to spread your christian faith and the best place to start is of course your own home and your own family, the more word you will spread about christian life and its benefits the more good will do to humanity. But it isn’t always easy to make people believe in you even if they are your close friends or your siblings.

So here are few ways to make you get up and tell your brothers and sisters of what a wonderful heaven a christian life is.

1. Maintain your own diary, where you note your experiences and also record the information about christian faith that you would like to refer back later.

2. If you go and tell your elder brother what you believed in, he might just reject you outright, or would not pay any heed to what ever you say, hence the golden rule is to always remember that ‘Action speaks louder than words’ so let your action and habit speak for you, which would compel your elder and younger siblings to follow you as their ideal, and when they have started experiencing the miracles of Christian life themselves, knowingly or unknowingly then it is the right time to share with them the message that God’s son Jesus would want you to spread.

3. Your focus should be on the values and morals that the holy Bible imbibes in it rather than just reading the passages directly from the Bible. Share stories from the Bible that would throw light on Christian faith and the values that these stories hold, or what is the true meaning of all these stories.

4. Set an example for them, don’t just give sermons, make them follow you, make them admire you, share your experiences with them that shows the quality of a Christian life, share your experiences at the church with your kin and make them realize the value and the morals and the spiritualism that Christianity brings with it and don’t just compel them to hear you make them follow you and believe in you.
