Hiring a private jet for your journey is a matter of convenience and comfort provided you can afford to hire one. Depending upon travel requirement and preferences hiring a private jet is indeed a must and at of utmost necessity.
Private
jets are often thought of as being a luxury and part of many
celebrity and entrepreneurs’ lifestyles. These days, they are both
available to buy or hire, depending on how many times you are going
to use them. They are ideal for flying around the country or even
abroad at your own convenience, without being restricted to certain
times on public flights. This makes them great for last minute trips
and also provides a sense of privacy.
A
private
jet is
sometimes also known as a business jet, executive jet, corporate jet
or bizjet, as they are very popular with business people who need to
jet off at short notice and without the restrictive flight times of
normal flights. They can often take up to around 19 people within the
aircraft, and are sometimes also used by emergency services who need
to quickly fly a patient to the hospital particularly if access by
car or ambulance is unavailable within the area, perhaps due to it
being a remote location or because of ground weather hazards.
Helicopters are sometimes also used instead, but private jets are
occasionally used by government officers and the army for security
purposes or because of ease and speed.
There
are various different types and sizes of private jet
available, with five main types of business jet categories. Some
popular heavy jet makes include Airbus, Boeing and Embraer, while
large cabin jets can be Bombardier Aerospace, Dassault or Gulfstream
Aerospace. These are the most expensive and have a big capacity.
There
are also super mid size jets such as Cessna, Bombardier Aerospace,
Embraer, Dassault, Gulfstream and Hawker Beechcraft. These are the
elite versions with a lot of space and can reach a high speed and
altitude. They can be very luxurious and are able to fly across
transatlantic routes.
Mid
size jets are ideal for longer range travel including
transcontinental journeys and are able to take even more people on
board. These makes can include Bombardier Aerospace, Dassault,
Cessna, Embraer, Gulfstream and Hawker Beechcraft.
There
are also light jets, which have access to smaller airports and can
fly at decent speeds, including makes such as Cessna, Bombardier
Aerospace, Grob, Embraer, Sino Swearingen, and Hawker Beechcraft.
Very light jets are even smaller and have a lower maximum take-off
weight, being able to take off only from small airports. These makes
include Cessna, Cirrus Design, Comp Air, Adam Aircraft Industries,
Diamond Aircraft Industries, Eclipse Aviation, Embraer, Epic
Aircraft, Honda, Piper and Spectrum Aeronautical.
Most
will come with a professionally trained pilot while some businessmen
prefer to fly them themselves if they are qualified to do so.
However, different operators will own and manage these sorts of jets,
which are flight departments, charter companies and fractional
ownership (similar to time shares).
