The majority of the western world follows the same calendar although annual holidays and specially observed festivals will vary between countries and religions.

For homes the A4 size month by month calendar is the most popular with a fitting design accompanying either a box or line for each day of the month. These calendars are hugely popular and can come in any design imaginable from baby animals to scantily clad celebrities and from popular landscapes to a favoured band or movie.

Businesses tend to favour a less personal approach, especially when the company in question is the one purchasing and these tend to be more functional with less in the way of personal design and more space per day to write notes in. These also tend to be more desk-based and as such are more compact than their wall mounted counterparts.

Getting the Right Look

Calendars tend to be sold for extremely reasonable prices, which is surprising given their year-long functionality. However low priced they might be though quality is extremely important as a cheaply made calendar can not only stick out a mile when first brought but can look increasingly worse as the year drags on. Wherever they’re going to be situated it is important that they be well made and printed to ensure they last the 52 required weeks.
