Are you sick and tired of your old in car stereo? Are you planning on getting a new stereo sound system for your Audi?
If you said yes to any of these questions, then there are some facts you should know before you head out to buy a new sound system.

So, here are some tips on how to pick the most suitable car audio system for your Audi, generated with thanks.

1) The first thing to look at is the amplifiers. A quality amplifier produces good sound from the speaker set up and will cut any distortion and maintain a high quality of sound. The amplifier should be positioned in a car location that will not be affected by water and has a good air flow.

2) Following this you should consider the speakers. The speaker size should conform to the size of your car because too much of a magnet can cause low sound quality in smaller cars. However, you need to stick to a budget you can afford and ensure you get speakers that are suited to your Audi. When buying speakers and amplifiers it is easy to get carried away, so be careful.

3) After this consider automatic volume control, if the car has this feature it will allow the audio system to control the volume capacity whilst compensating for speed and wind noise. You may want to ask if this feature is available when you're shopping for different models.

4) What about the extras? Due to the advances of technology, today's newly developed car audio systems are far more efficient and adaptable compared to older models. More recent features include GPS ability, a mapping system for directions, Bluetooth ready devices and audio/video display set up.

5) Ask an expert. If in doubt then why not go into your local Audi car parts shop and ask a few questions. Once you've done this you can move onto the next store and see if you get the same answers. This can be the only way to see if their advice is honest or whether they just want to sell you an expensive stereo. Shopping around is the most effective way of getting the right stereo at the right price.

6) Don't tamper with the electronics. Unless you're a professional electrician you shouldn't really change the electronic set up of your Audi. If you want to change anything hire a professional electrician, which could amount to a cost of 100 to 200 pounds.

7) However, it could be that purchasing a new stereo isn't your only option. Although installing a new stereo into your Audi could help to modernise it, it is not always the best way to increase your driving experience. This is because older Audis may be too dated to get the stereo to function properly. If you have this problem you might prefer to buy or lease a vehicle that comes with a quality stereo. For example, Audi A3 leasing deal could allow you to replace your Audi with the latest model.

If you stick to these guidelines then you should make the right decision when it comes to purchasing and then installing a new car stereo in your Audi.
