Asbestos Safety Training run a number of different courses to educate people in the dangers that asbestos can present in the workplace. As a tradesman you will in no doubt be only too acquainted with the dangers that asbestos can present. With this in mind we have developed a basic asbestos awareness training course designed to ensure that all tradesmen are fully aware of the dangers of working in such environments. Our basic asbestos awareness training courses meets the expectations of the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2006. These asbestos awareness training courses are suitable for all employees that are exposed to asbestos in their work environment.

Each of the asbestos awareness training courses that we run are suitable for up to fifteen participants and can be undertaken at a venue of your choosing or via our own premises. In addition to catering for groups of people we can also accommodate small businesses and independent tradesmen. Our courses last just half a day and once you achieve an accreditation in asbestos awareness training it is valid for two years.

The asbestos awareness training course content covers everything that you’ll need to know about asbestos. From the nature and origins of asbestos to the different types of asbestos, the detrimental effects of asbestos on your health and the potential locations of asbestos in buildings. With our asbestos awareness training courses you will also learn about the decontamination procedures for asbestos and the safe and correct use of all RPE/PPE personal protective equipment.
