Tori Spelling appears in stunning maternity wear

These days, celebrities are leading the way when it comes to maternity wear. They are often pictured in gorgeous maternity clothes, refusing to let their pregnancies get in the way of fashion.

One star to demonstrate this recently was Tori Spelling. The American actress, who is pregnant with her third child, appeared at LA's Pacific Palisades at an event intended to promote awareness of child passenger safety.

According to the Daily Mail, the 38-year-old was wearing a "stunning vivid maxi-dress". The publication added that the performer "refused to sacrifice style for slobbery".

She teamed her vibrant maternity wear up with high brown heels, a bangle and "retro Bohemian plats".

It seems as though Spelling's love of the limelight is shared by her two-year-old daughter Stella, who accompanied her mother to the event. In contrast, the star's husband Dean McDermott and their three-year-old son Liam opted to stay aware from the cameras and red carpet.

Meanwhile, the actress was not the only famous mum to attend the Pacific Palisades event. Others included beauty queen Ali Landry and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards.

Spelling and her hubby have opted to keep the sex of their unborn baby a surprise. Speaking to People Magazine, she remarked: "We've been blessed with a boy and girl already, so this time we've decided to do it the traditional way and not find out the sex."

Meanwhile, about her eating habits, she added: "I eat everything when I'm pregnant. Who cares about carbs when you're pregnant?"

No doubt the celeb will have a stash of maternity clothes already thanks to her two previous pregnancies. Spelling, who shot to fame in the early 1990s in her role as Donna Martin in Beverly Hills, 90210, has appeared in a number of films, including Trick and The House of Yes.
