Already connecting people through phone and broadband, telecommunications company BT now wish to connect their customer's to the best television and films around, through their latest innovation: the BT Vision V+ Box.
Cable,
Satellite, Freeview, Terrestrial, Digital. All of these words abound
in today's media. And all of them imply a choice to be made, against
the backdrop of the words “Digital Switchover” and the deadline
of 2012. What does it all mean and where is anyone to find
clarification on what to do? The largest telecommunications provider
BT have developed a simple to use, and simple to understand solution
to just this problem.
Understanding
that spending excessive amounts on refitting their homes to make them
ready for digital is something most consumers would rather avoid, BT
have imagined a solution which relies solely on the combination of
existing BT Broadband technology and a Freeview Ariel. The BT
Vision HD
box, absolutely free in all BT Vision Packages,
requires no additional hardware besides that which a BT Broadband
customer already has at their disposal.
Completely
HD ready with the ability to broadcast television in standard
resolution, HD and 3D, and with upto 80 hours of recording space for
digital television, the V+ box comes ready to supply a more rewarding
televisual experience. Supplying Freeview as standard enables access
to up to 50 channels, with the added ability to catch up on missed
television through Vision Replay, accessing the current catch up
services offered by Channel 4, ITV and Channel 5 as well as BBC
iPlayer. For that added speciality, BT Vision HD
customers enjoy the ability to record live digital television, whilst
watching another programme simultaneously, all off the V+ Box, an
ability not standard on all digital Freeview boxes. This highlights
that commitment of BT to deliver only the very best to their
customers.
Eager
not to miss out on anything however, the V+ box, comes equipped with
the comprehensive BT Vision library offering access to some of the
most highly sought after on-demand television and films, from as
little as 50p a show, ensuring that BT customers once again enjoy the
best television that is on offer. For the latest sports results
customers can additionally subscribe to receive SkySports 1 & 2
and ESPN on select BT
Vision Packages.
All
the packages come with Freeview, Vision Replay, and iPlayer equipped
as standard, with the on demand television and films being depending
upon which package is chosen. For existing BT Broadband customers,
packages start from as little as £4 a month for the first 3 months,
while for new subscribers to BT, there a number of competitively
priced packages which include phone, broadband, and television as a
package bundle, all of which have free connection if a new telephone
line is required to be installed.
BT
are offering the largest variety of television to their customers,
leaving the customers with the simplest choice, how much do they want
to see?
