BT
does not only offer home phone packages, but they also have a digital
television service called BT Vision, as well as broadband internet.
This article explains what channels and packages that you can choose
from.
There
are two main
BT Vision Packages
to choose from. You can get TV Essential for just £4 a month, which
is very affordable. With this, you’ll receive a Vision + box free
of charge, which enables you to record, rewind and pause live
television, so that you never miss a moment of your favourite
programmes ever again. There are 70 Freeview channels to choose from
(50 TV and 20 radio), as well as a catch up television service, with
free BBC iPlayer and on demand content from other channels at 50p per
programme. You also have the option to add on Sky Sports 1 and Sky
Sports 2 if you are a sports fan.
TV
Unlimited costs £12.50 per month and also comes with a free Vision +
box, as well as 70 Freeview channels and a catch up service. BBC
iPlayer comes free, and so does other on demand content with an
unlimited access to genres such as TV, Music, Sport, Film Club and
Vision Kids. There is something on offer for the whole family because
of the wide range of BT Vision Channels
available. You can also add on ESPN free of charge, as well as having
the option to add Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 2 as well, making it
ideal for sports fans wanting extra channels to choose from.
You
can also bundle any of these services with broadband internet and or
home phone calls, so that you can save even more money. This also
makes it much easier to manage because you only have one bill to pay
per month.
BT
Vision comes with Freeview as its main selection of channels, which
range from drama, films, comedy, crime series, documentaries, sports,
music, cartoons, reality television and much more. There is something
on offer for everyone to enjoy. Some of these channels include BBC
One, ITV 1, ITV 2, BBC Three, E4, Film, Five, and More, amongst many
others. You need to remember that Freeview is not available around
the whole of the UK, although it does cover most of the areas. This
means that you need to check beforehand to see if your home can
receive it before purchasing a BT Vision package.
As
well as the 50 Freeview TV channels on offer, you can also get 20
digital radio ones if you prefer to have it on in the background
whilst doing other things. The set top box also allows you to pause,
record and rewind live television, meaning you never have to miss a
second of your programmes again. This provides extra flexibility and
convenience, leaving you free to answer the phone or doorbell. The
catch up service gives you extra options to watch programmes you may
have missed within the last seven days.
