They may not be the particularly close, but actresses Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston seem to have similar tastes when it comes to shoulder handbags. The pair have been pictured separately wearing virtually identical leather handbags, MSN Starlounge reports.

Jolie was spotted in London's Soho with a luxe leather 'Carine' bag, which is the creation of American designer Tom Ford. The 36-year-old was visiting the offices of Ridley Scott when she was pictured with the stylish fashion accessory.

According to the news source, the Hollywood A-lister seemed content as she made her way from the building to her car. It stated that the star "cheerfully skipped" out onto the street and across to a vehicle that was waiting for her.

She was on a prolonged trip to the UK at the time with her beau Brad Pitt while he filmed scenes for new zombie film World War Z.

Meanwhile, Aniston, proving that she and Jolie do not only have similar preferences when it comes to men, was photographed with an almost identical bag not long after.

The 42-year-old, who was married to Pitt from 2000 to 2005, was on a day out in New York. According to Starlounge, she is said to be a big fan of Ford's designs and already owns two of his shoulder handbags.

Jolie and Anistons' leather handbags both featured a distinctive gold clasp and dual-toned chain.
