Cream Shirt Dresses

The shirt dress is one of the more uncommon types of dresses for women. They generally range from those that are buttoned in front to those that are short sleeved. The most luxurious of them are traditionally made from silk. Shirt dresses are normally designed with a bigger cut to be a loose fit for the body. For example, if you were to travel regardless of it being for business or for pleasure, a shirt dress of a more neutral color such as tan or cream will suit your needs without needing to burst your suitcase with too many colors. While in the office however, a pair of tan heels or pumps will go great with shirt dresses of the same color.

To go for a more slim yet curved look, one can wear a medium sized belt of tan color around the shirt dress. This look will be even better for the office if the shirt dress in question has a cuffed sleeve. This outfit combination is so versatile that it can even be modified to suit casual events like window shopping. All you have to do is to remove the belt and wear a pair of black leggings instead. Of course, instead of wearing a pair of those excruciatingly painful heels or pumps, wear a pair of flats or gladiator shoes will look even better. Another way for a shirt dress to look fabulous is to tuck it in a skirt. In this case, a brown or dark colored skirt will look great with the cream or tan shirt dress.

A pair of shoes that match the color of the shirt dress will of course be the best choice here. Cropped jeans are also a great match for shirt dresses especially when worn for casual events like an outing with friends such as tea or brunch. A thinner belt here would also be great if your shirt dress is a little on the loose side. For flexibility, go with neutral shades to be able to match with many items in your wardrobe.
