What is CFA?

CFA stands for Chartered Financial Analyst; the CFA program certification distinguishes you from the other financial courses and makes you unique with a mark of globally recognized and acknowledged certified Chartered Financial Analyst who has immense and thorough practical as well as fundamental knowledge in the investment industry. The commitment level & professional approach in the financial domain will never be questioned if you have obtained the CFA certification.

The completion of CFA certification is an outcome after appearing in the 3 different examination levels. The most respected credential is for those candidates who are holding or waiting for their final year degree in college. In other way, to obtain a CFA certification, a candidate has to have a four year university degree and must have four year of working experience in the investment industry.

Usually, candidates take one exam per year over three years (if we assume a successful attempt). Level 1 exam ensues twice a year (generally in the first weekend of June & December). The level 2 and 3 are managed once a year (usually, first weekend of June).

 What you get of CFA?

CFA salary, these two words are so powerful and influential that can make anyone dream with open eyes. CFA (chartered financial analyst) is an extremely valued certification but it’s highly tough to achieve. It’s difficult not impossible.

CFA salary depends on experience and the job title which has been given to justify. So just have a look at the expected salary graph which goes up with the experience.

But, you must bear in mind that you need to clear all 3 levels of CFA in order to get high CFA salary.

a)      1st year             : $52,000   to  $60,000     per year

b)      1 to 4 years     : $63,ooo   to  $75,000     per year

c)      After 5 years   : $85,000   to  $95,000     per year

d)      After 10 years : $120,000 to $125,000   per year

After 20 years : $140,000 to $150,000   per year
