A Bit On Bikini Contests

Have you ever been enjoying your day in the warm sun when you saw the most beautiful girls in bikinis, ready for the latest contest? If you are a guy you are probably having the best time enjoying such scenery. For women, you are probably comparing your own body to theirs, feeling insecure and maybe even jealous. Yet many of us women wish we had the body and the confidence to be up there, parading around in our bikini while the crowd goes wild!

It may sound silly to some people out there, but bikini contests are very popular. You can even join them online! You submit your photo in a bikini, and they select a monthly winner. Then the monthly winners are entered into the overall competition. Prices include cash, jewelry, and trips. Miss Dangerous Curves 2007 is currently getting underway online. Some of the participants in bikini contests do it for the fun of it while they are out having a good time. For others, it is a very competitive and rewarding event that they take very seriously. They often work out for hours just to get into shape for such competitions.

Bikini contests also take place at concerts, bars, nightclubs, beaches, and car shows. They are very similar to the basic beauty contest. This is disappointing to some because there are many bikinis out there that do not cover much at all. Bikini contests generally have requirements about how much material has to be available to cover the nipples, buttocks, and the crotch. While bikinis have always allowed the wearer to show off their assets, the newer and more extreme bikini market contains virtually no material at. There are exceptions at biker parties and strip clubs.

The two longest running bikini contests are at the Candy Store in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and at Coconuts in Cocoa Beach, Florida. During spring break, the Candy Store holds competitions daily. Contestants are from all over the world. At Coconuts, two competitions are held each day on the pier. Participants sign up months in advance to participant in this competition. They win a variety of prizes including cash, trips, and sometimes modeling propositions.

On the wilder side, there is the bikini strip contest and the bikini tattoo contest. These often involve a wilder crowd, lots of drinking, flashing, and party beads. Regardless of what kind of bikini contest you see, you are in for an eyeful of pretty girls vying for the title of being the best looking out there.
