Lots of home-based workers started out just trying to get rid of some extra stuff lying around the house and enjoyed it so much they got into it in a bigger way.

There's many good reasons why so many people want to work at home. The high costs of fuel, child-care, and clothing, are just a few reasons why it's cheaper to stay home and work.

Other benefits are: no boss or supervisor; setting your own hours; and to work where and when you want. One of the big benefits is that all of the profits go to you, not someone else!

It's natural to be nervous about doing this. Are you wondering how you're going to give up a job and replace that income and not worry about how you're going to pay the bills? The first answer to this is to minimize your risk by starting part time and keeping your "day job". Start slow and test the waters first. Use yourself and family members to run the business and minimize your out-of-pocket expenses.
