Sony Ericsson W810i is a Walkman branded mobile phone which is an upgrade to the pre-existing W800i. Frankly speaking, there is not much of a change but for some minor improvements. Technically speaking, Sony Ericsson W810i has more global appeal with the GSM QuadBand technology which enables global roaming as compared to the W800i, integrated with Triband technology. Furthermore, Sony Ericsson W810i is equipped with EDGE to strengthen the connectivity front and multimedia keypad layouts have been given a facelift.
Sony Ericsson W810i comes with a meagre 20 MB shared memory but covers a lot of ground with memory expansion slot which can take the memory up to a rip roaring 2 GB! Audio & video players are capable of playing various formats along with Disc2phone software that lets the Sony Ericsson W810i live up to the moniker 'Walkman'.
