Carlo Rota reveals his delight as a cast member on the award-winning series 24. In an exclusive interview with BuddyTV, he gives details about his experiences on 24, as well as his other projects
Ever wondered why America’s Next Top Model season one winner, Adrianne Curry, is not included in the opening credits of Tyra Bank’s competitive reality series? According to the 24-year old native of Joliet, Illinois, the reason dates back a few years ago when she did an interview subsequent to her win on America’s Next Top Model.
Apparently, Curry told various interviewers that she wasn’t given the Revlon modeling contract she was promised as the winner of the contest. In addition, she also said in the past that host and former supermodel Banks did not really do much for her and the rest of the show, even emphasizing that the program’s success is due to her and the contestants.
Although she claims that she is not bitter about not being included in the show’s opening credits or even on the walls of the house featured on America ’s Next Top Model, she remains to be disappointed over her being neglected as the first winner of the show. And in spite of throwing in some hurtful words against the show, she remains to be proud and unregretful about being outspoken and telling the truth.
On the other hand, she is still grateful to have been part America’s Next Top Model. She also admits that she wouldn’t be where she is now if it weren ’t for the show.
Currently, Curry is a host on the show NowLive.com. After her stint on Top Model, she has acquired modeling gigs with Life and Style Magazine, Marie Claire, Maxim, Macy’s, Famous Stars and Straps, and has graced the cover of Playboy, where she was paid $1,000,000. She has also worked on numerous runway shows including Anne Bowen Spring 2005 and Christopher Deane.
Furthermore, she has appeared on television shows like Half & Half, Celebrity Paranormal Project and Ballbreakers.
