The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) is a
national "committee" that focuses partly on
regulating prescription medications. They are the
force that determines rather or not a specific form
of medication or treatment is deems safe for human
use, at what dosage it is safe, and various other
forms of regulation. However, what the FDA does not
want you to know is that there are many other
treatments of cancer available that they have not
even given a second thought.
When researching natural cancer treatments, you
will likely come across the words "this has not
been approved by the FDA". What does this mean?
Well, this could mean many different things. First,
it could mean that the FDA has not had the chance
to review it and approve it. The process of
reviewing medical treatment and determining if it
is "safe" for use in its recommended manner is a
very lengthy process. This can take several years
and with all of the testing and retesting, it is
possible that the Food and Drug Administration
simply has not had the chance to get to that
particularly treatment.
On the other hand, it may be a natural cancer
treatment that does not need to be regulated by the
FDA. This is true for treatments that are in use by
naturopathic and homeopathic physicians. Most items
with a therapeutic quality do not need to be
researched and defined by the FDA. However, the FDA
still does not want you to know any of this, why?
Well, to be quite blunt about it. The FDA is a
government agency. In other words, they have a
commitment to the government and the pharmaceutical
companies they work with. In the eyes of most
people, the FDA has no other purpose than to make
more money for the companies making the
"traditional" medications.
What is more, your doctor is not lawfully allowed
to mention natural and alternative cancer
treatments to his or her patient. Just by
suggesting these types of treatments to patients,
he or she can lose his or her license, be sued,
fined, or even lose his or her right to practice
altogether. Alternative treatments are something
that most people have to figure out on their own.
Many physicians will not even discuss the remote
possibility.
The doctors will only generally discuss options
that are clearly approved and defined by the FDA.
If it is not in the traditional medical journals
and books, they will likely steer clear of them
altogether. Essentially, you have to research

with a homeopathic doctor to discuss your options.
