When doing CD packaging or DVD packaging, you will usually find yourself in front of a big dilemma.

When doing CD packaging or DVD packaging, you will usually find yourself in front of a big dilemma. Which one to use! There are nowadays a lot of different designs and solutions.

Whereas you will not really have much choice when doing CD duplication or DVD duplication, there is a big array of packaging options you can choose from when you are getting to the next step.

The first option and probably one of the most commonly used and offered by companies is the standard DVD box. It would include tabs to hold a booklet, an outer clear wrap to hold the printed insert and can usually be chosen in different colours even if black and translucent colours. This kind of packaging can also be used for a CD obviously.

You could also go for the same kind of box but that would be able to hold two or more CDs or DVDs.

If you find this kind of standard DVD packaging box either too big or too expensive, you can still go for smaller boxes like the half height box which is still very robust and would still allow you to put a smaller booklet and that would still have a clear cover wrap allowing you to put a printed insert in it. Once again, the colour is not an issue here.

Another choice could be to go for an even simpler packaging solution. You could use plastic or card sleeves for your CD or DVD. On the other hand, by using this kind of packaging, you would not be able to put a booklet or even to have a printed insert. Not having a printed insert can be easily sorted out if you have covered the CD or DVD with something.

Obviously, those solutions are the most standard ones and you will be able to find more depending with which company you go with. Nowadays, most companies providing CD duplication and DVD duplication as well as CD packaging and DVD packaging have a lot of different designs to offer to their customers.

So, after spending a lot of time trying to get everything right with the duplication or replication, make sure you choose the right packaging for your disk. Choosing the right packaging for your disk is so important since the packaging is actually there to grab the attention of people and will hugely help to sell your product.
