A Tour of Lake Las Vegas Resort

One of the most beautiful communities in the Henderson real estate market has to be the master planned community of Lake Las Vegas. Years in the making, the community features old world Italian architecture, winding cobblestone streets with neighborhoods dotting the surrounding hills. There are several resorts, specialty shops and fine dining restaurants making it a top rated vacation destination.

Lake Las Vegas is located in Northeast Henderson, just a few miles from Lake Mead. Lake Las Vegas is home to local celebrities, empty nesters and golf enthusiasts alike. Reflection Bay is the first public golf course designed by golf legend Jack Nicklaus and was host to the Wendy’s Three Tour challenge. The course features three waterfalls, pristine greens and plays around water and arroyos. The other course, the Falls offers elevation challenges. Both courses offer a great game of golf and breathtaking views of the lake and the community. Special club memberships are available to residents in certain communities.

Lifestyle

Montelago village is the commercial heart of the community. It is home to the Ritz-Carlton, a marina, the Spa Vita di Lago and numerous boutique shops. Residents and visitors alike can relax at one of the spas, eat at a variety of restaurants or spend a day out on the lake in a rented yacht or take a romantic gondola ride. The community also features six helipads for those that prefer to fly over traffic instead of drive through it!  Montelago village is a great place for a getaway weekend or for a romantic night out.

Lake Las Vegas real estate prices have remained steady, despite the Lake Las Vegas homes continue to rise in price, marking this planned community as one of the best Henderson has to offer for golf enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. Construction is still ongoing but has become to taper off. Resale activity is fairly consistent and there are usually several properties available for sale at any given time.
