According to the recent research, if an individual feels dizzy or lightheaded, they should immediately report to the dentist about it.  Some might feel that it is not a serious condition but in actuality it is a serious situation.

For this we have to understand what this feeling of lightheaded and dizziness is related to.  This can be an initial process of going into a syncope, which means that there is a change in the central nervous system, dizziness, lightheadedness, paleness, nausea, change in vision, etc.

These symptoms usually occur for a very brief period of time ranging from a few seconds to a minute or so.  If such symptoms start to occur, then the patient must report them immediately to the dentist.

The researcher shared that there can be a direct cause related to such feelings and if not shared immediately, can have dire consequences.  In most of the cases, syncope can be related to anxiety, fatigue, stress, anger, etc.

The dentists must engage their patients in a very friendly conversation before they start a procedure, which will allow them to calm down and not be too anxious about the procedure, which can otherwise lead to syncope.

If for any reason the condition of the individual is not settled, then the dental procedure must be stopped so as to prevent any life threatening situation.  Therefore the individuals suffering from lightheadedness or dizzy feeling, they must report it to their dentist.
