Just a little piece about leaving your worries, like car insurance policies, at the door when you leave the office!

We would all like to go on a great holiday every year, but it doesn’t always work out as planned unfortunately. Before embarking on a holiday you need to get a whole bunch of things in order including your car insurance policy, your breakdown cover policy, you need to find someone to watch your home and the list continues. However, there is a solution to not being able to travel for your holidays.

Firstly we need to cross the “I really don’t want to be stuck at home” bridge and it can be tricky. Spending quality time with your family at home can help smooth over relationships and it can also turn your new house into a home. Spending quality time at home is vital to our well-being as people.

We need to be able to go home after a long day and just relax. We need to learn to leave work at the door, we should embrace what we have and “check your worries at the door” if you will. The golden rule (and it is a hard one) is to switch off your “work mode” as soon as you leave the office. Don’t take work home with you, if deadlines need to be met then it is better to work late, everyone needs the distinction between home and work in their lives.

So on your drive home forget about your company car’s insurance policy that needs renewing. Make a mental note of it and let that be the last of it, until tomorrow morning of course.  We can all learn to relax and it does make life just that little bit easier, no fretting about minor details that can’t be rectified immediately, like, for instance, your car insurance policy, tomorrow is another day.
