Thus, it is very important to make people aware and educate them regarding this. If people remain unaware of the effects of global warming, they will not care about it. However, instead if they know everything, they will remain active and thus make a difference by simple activities like planting a tree, switching electrical companies, donating small plants to organizations.

Carbon offsets are measured in tons of carbon dioxide equivalents. They purchased and sold by a number of trading platforms, online retailers and international brokers. For instance, the wind energy companies frequently sell carbon offsets. Those who purchase the offsets are on the benefit as they can say that their purchase has resulted in a new and non-polluting energy, whereas the company benefits as the carbon offsets that it sells make the projects like this one, economically viable.

The commercial system is contributing greatly to the increasing demand of voluntary offsets among organizations, individuals and companies. These carbon offsets are cheap and a convenient alterative to reduce the consumption of fossil fuels.
