We, as an American society, have seen an evolution on so many aspects. From daily living to government, social media has become a true piece of who we are. From EXT, to  Myspace to Facebook to Craigslist, the Web 2.0 phase has created its own economic force, being one of the strongest markets during the current state of America's economy. Even more, as President  Obama sought to harness the strengths and benefits from social media, in particular the connection between politics and the youth, social media has literally become a piece of history.

Now as Obama is preparing to take office, we as a society should expect to see an implementation of social medias, and overall Web 2.0 resources, within government policies, as well as how it will communicate and practice. More specifically, we will be seeing social medias as the site for platforms on debates, advocations, and political discussions. As Cancer.ext.com prepares for the 15-part petition to change legistlation to the benefit of cancer patients and research, we all should support this potential piece legistation, as we strive for a more humane and civil world. And despite whether you support Obama or not, we all should unite behind this universal cause, for the fight against cancer has no race, no skin color, no prference to age, gender or sexual orientation.

With a liberal mind, and innovative spirit, Obama will be sure to tackle this challenge, as he will tackle the numerous others that lie ahead of his presidency.
