Some people cannot drink plain water.  Doctors say that a person should drink at least eight glasses of water everyday. So it would be better if they just add a few drops of favorite flavor in water and drink it. If you add flavored syrup in water it may require ½-1 ounce per 8 oz serving. But in the case of flavored drops it just requires a few drops per serving. You can use flavor drops in shakes, smoothies, baked goods, water and even in coffee and Tea.

Nowadays there are plenty of bottle water products that are available in departmental store. Some of them are spring water, Mineral water, purified water or sparkling water.
Spring water is water that is harvested from a natural spring. A spring is a natural source of water that flows up from the ground under pressure.

Mineral water has at least 250 parts per million of naturally occurring dissolved minerals. Minerals that are added in mineral water are calcium, phosphorous, iron and zinc. The exact mineral consumption of any mineral water will be different, from brand to brand. Tests of more than 1,000 bottles of 103 brands of bottled water commissioned by the Natural Resources Defense council and performed by three independent labs in 1999 revealed that 33% of the bottled waters tested contained significant contamination in at least one test and 20% contained synthetic organic chemicals. If mineral water is consumed through plastic bottles, there is the additional disadvantage the environmental footprint to consider due to the high volume of waste created by the plastic bottles.

Purified water refers to all types of water from which chemicals are removed through different processes. The simplest process being water filters that sort out some of the chemical compounds found in tap water. Distilled water and deionized water are also considered purified. Water with this label doesn’t have to be natural and can be water from a municipal system. Sparkling water is a blanket term for water in which carbon dioxide gas has been dissolved. Modern sparkling water is substantially more carbonated than these past types, as it pressurizes the carbon dioxide first, and then pushes it into the water, allowing much greater densities of the gas. This can cause lot of gas in your stomach. The world bottled water market is estimated to be nearly $22 billion. Bottled water, although up to 1,000 times the price of tap water, may be no safer, or healthier.

If people drink flavored water it can increase their water intake. Flavor drops do not contain fats, calories or sweeteners. When you are drinking water just add a few drops of any flavor you like in the water and enjoy it. Flavor drops can also be used in diet shakes, oatmeal, pudding, brewed coffee and tea, smoothies, desserts and more. There are various flavors like vanilla, strawberry, chocolate mint, Chocolate butter crunch etc available. Flavored water contains natural flavors, herbs and minerals which make the water tasty. They have lesser calories than non-diet commercial soft drinks.
