Naturally, you might felt confronted by these words. And that’s ok to start with. Let’s take that into consideration and accept your reaction as relevant.
We will assume that you are already an expert at everything you’ve ever done and studied in your life so far. That being said it is likely that the rational logical part of your brain is now switching on and offers you at least one or two examples of areas in your life, where there still is a possible scope for improvement.

Provided that you are able to be honest with yourself, you will admit, that even though you are such:

·    a great colleague
·    team player
·    friend
·    reliable worker
·    loved manager
·    supporting husband
·    safe driver
·    loving father
·    effective business partner
·    and so on;

when it comes to e.g.

·    cooking a presentable meals
·    managing people/projects
·    taking quick actions
·    making accurate decisions
·    being a loving son/daughter in law
·    or so,

you could improve in some way.

Face The Bad & The Ugly

Having a close look at the areas that you could improve on is a first step in the right direction. Standing on this starting line on the way to greatness, you can see all the opportunities that will be available to you as a result of the subtle, yet magnificent changes that are required in order to reach your desired outcome.

On the other hand, if you are feeling little bit reluctant to look at yourself through the eyes of a critic in order to see the ‘holes’ in the colander of your happiness, your future may be looking just the same as your present situation. Assuming that it is not the way you like it to be, you need to find the courage to face the reality of being imperfect, which simply means that you realize there may be room for improvement.
