Fuel savers are becoming very popular due to the environmental disaster we are now facing. Our economic issues also play a big part for people not wanting SUVs or trucks.  Job loss and unemployment are at an all-time high, some simply cannot afford to purchaset he fuel that these larger vehicles require.  An energy efficient way of transportation, such as a battery-operated or electric vehicle will save you money.  Certain types of fuel-saving cars can get over 70 miles to the gallon. 

Automotive companies recognize the new demand and must change a lot of the ways that they have been previously manufacturing automobiles.  The earth is getting greener. Corporations and bio-fuel companies have to cooperate. 

The technology of fuel-saving cars is rapidly advancing.  States of the government recognize the urgent need to finally get a hold on the situation.  Going green is not just some fad that will go away in a couple of years.  The entire world must adapt to a whole new method of thinking, of living, and of rehabilitating our planet.  We are all in some way responsible, no body's totally innocent.  The question is:  Can mankind work as hard together in rebuilding as we have together in destroying?  Purchasing a fuel-saving car is one small way you, as an individual, can help out.
