There are many allergies that people have to deal with and many of them we know about. One that is more rare among people is the sun allergy.
When it comes to our kids we worry over every little scratched knee and torn fingernail. It is our job to make sure that they stay safe and we love them a good deal that it pains us when something goes wrong. Yet, there are unforeseen things that are able to come about - which will affect them in ways we hoped they would not have to experience.

Sun allergy - also known as photosensitivity and is induced when the bodies’ immune system is trying to fight against the sun. The regions that are more impacted by this include the back of the hands, arms, lower legs, and the neck.
Physicians have not been able to determine why or how the sun has the ability to spark this response in the body. It is possible that when the skin touches the sunlight it activates the immune system - which believes it is being attacked by something foreign. Individuals who have highly sensitive skin are the ones who are impacted more by it.
If you think that you hurt from this allergy then you have to visit your physician instantly so that they are able to diagnose you. If it is a more severe case they may have to take a skin biopsy of the impacted region and analyze it under the microscope. They might also need to take some blood tests.
