What NOT To Do When Saving On Gas Money

Many of us know by now all of the methods that we can do to save in gas money - but do we know what methods that must never be utilized? There are several things that we will try and trust me when I say to you that I know first hand that these thoughts are never going to help.

Where’s The Cheapest Gas Station

Just how many times have we spent our time driving around the town searching to find the cheapest gas station to fill up? We figure that even if we can save a couple cents it will be worth it. But how many miles are we forced to drive in order to find it? I have done this many times and around three out of four of these times I have run out of gas.

Now not only have you wasted all your gas - but now have to spend even more money to fill it up. When you know you must have gas go to the nearest gas station and fill it up.

Biking To Work

Some of us will trade in our nice cars for something a bit tougher to manage - the old bike. We think to ourselves why not bike everywhere and save ourselves money while trying to get some exercise at the same time? This is ok if you don’t mind leaving for work an hour or so earlier then usual and getting there in a sweat.

This can be tough during the summer time and is very unsafe to anyone who has to take the highway. In the end you will save yourself time by using the car. If you are that serious then you should trade your car in for something that gets better gas mileage.
