Learn how to put a stop to the bedtime battle with your children. There are different methods - but the key is to finding what works for you.
When it comes to parenting there are numerous things that we must overcome that concerns our kids. It is our duty to ensure that they listen to what we are saying to them, that they obey, that they discover about the world that surrounds them, and that they are always safe. This is more tough when they are attempting to dispute everything we say and do at each turn.

It is around the terrible twos that they become more stubborn then they usually are and one of the numerous battles we have to manage with is when and how to put them in bed. One of the best things you can do is to tuck them in, give them hugs and kisses, tell them you love them, and give them their favorite stuffed animal.

Yet, this is not constantly going to work and for various youngsters they will challenge this till they are blue in the face. Each child is unique in what they will or will not react to. The parent may be doing this each night or maybe not as frequently.

Some parents feel that it is better to go in once and if that does not work then to let them to cry it out. This will show the kid that they are rather serious and they will learn to go to bed when they are told. Before doing this make sure that your child is not scared in anyway. Offer them a nightlight and make sure there are no strange shadows that they might be seeing on the wall.

One of the worst things that you might do is to allow them to sleep wherever they want to. Some parents will allow them to sleep with them in their bed or on the couch. As long as the child falls asleep so they can sleep they are just fine. But when they try to eventually put them to bed in their own room they will have a difficult time. Things will be much harder and the bedtime battle will take longer then it should have to
