I will never forget the first time I met Myron. It was at a Business Breakfast For Entrepreneur's with a Card Exchange in Harrisburg, Pa.
Myron, got up and spoke about how he had risen from driving a trash truck in Harrisburg for $6.25/hr and went on to become a Millionaire. He did all of this despite his still having to wear a leg brace from his earlier days of having polio.
His rags to riches story was very real to me and therefore, it was easy to relate. I too, had risen from a poor background. Having grow up on a southern farm, picking cotton, raising and harvesting corn. Taking it from the corn on the stalk all the way to the "Grits Mill," where we made our own corn meal and grits. Which by the way are still two of my favorite foods.
My parents gave me the best they could afford at the time and eventually, I joined the military and successfully retired. Obtained my Real Estate license and became a successful Real Estate Investor.
