When you think about the people who are walking away from underwater and delinquent mortgages across the nation do you picture people like yourself who are struggling to make ends meet? Or do you think about people who are strategically defaulting on their mortgages because of the depressed value of their home?

Chris de Burgh, or Nickleback fans perhaps. Others, however, are deeply passionate about music. Playing it, creating it, or listening to it. For many people, their choice of music defines them as individuals. It can say who you are, to others. It can bring people close together or it can tear people apart.

Though there seems to have been a dearth of information lately regarding the outcome of all the trials and tribulations that home owners have been going through with the Chinese drywall contamination in their homes, there has recently been a ruling for seven families in Virginia who have been suffering the consequences of having sulphur contaminated drywall installed in their homes.

Whereas many of the boomer generation had banked on real estate being their ticket to a happy retirement, many of them are finding that not only are there very few people interested in buying their home but they also are not really interested in paying the price that the home owners had banked on a few years ago when they made their real estate plans.

The federal government has earmarked approximately 5.6 billion dollars in stimulus funds for Tennessee; many stimulus dollars have already been awarded but there are still many, many more contracts that are available for bid.
